Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your tour in order to handle admission and allow your group a short break. The time on your confirmation sheet does not include time for admission and restrooms. We will try to accommodate late groups (if possible), but we reserve the right to delay, shorten, or cancel programs for late arriving groups (if necessary). We will not delay groups that are on time for groups that arrive late. Tours last approximately 45 minutes.

One chaperone 18 years or older is required for every 10 students (under the age of 18). Teachers and chaperones are responsible for students at all times. Teachers and chaperones are expected to assist the museum staff in controlling the behavior of students during their entire visit, including time in the gift shop. Due to limited space and facilities, no more than five students are allowed in the gift shop at any one time.
• Students should never be without direct adult supervision. |
Upon arrival, the group leader should pay admission for the group in the museum gift shop. All fees are to be collected in advance and paid in one lump sum. If your group is visiting both houses, we ask that the entire cost of admission be paid at the first house your group tours. Checks, cash, and credit cards (except Discover) are readily accepted. Checks can be made out to “Hermann-Grima/Gallier Historic Houses.” Please have an exact count of visitors, noting children and adults, prior to your arrival at the museum.
